Italian Wines
Italy produces more wine than any other country in the world. Officially there are twenty different regions for the production of wine with qualities varying from low to very high. Several hundreds of typically Italian grapevarieties are still used all over Italy to produce a huge number of wines in all these regions. Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, Sangiovese, Brunello Grosso, Canaiolo , Molinara are some of the numerous grapevarieties. The super reds produced under the label of Vino da Tavola or IGT (indicazione geografica tipica) is a special category of great wines. We have of course, also white wines and rose wines.
