 Wine making in Chile dates back to the settlement of the Spanish in the 16th century. Recent developments in vineyard management and wine making have produced excellent results in this country. Lots of European "winelords" have invested big in Chilean land and wineries and will export in the coming years their products to Europe! Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon give the best results
